Description: In this video I show an old school Taekwondo front leg round kick variation, Ap Dollyo Chagi 태권도 앞 돌려차기 , from the martial art of Kukkiwon Taekwondo (Kukki TKD) that was often used during the W.T.F.'s old school "Power Era" (1980's - 2000's), long before the days of the electronic-hogu scoring system. The "shuffle roundhouse kick" is a lead leg kick that can be loaded up for tremendous power striking with the shin and/or instep, could be used as a swift point kick with just the instep, or could be used as a setup in a longer kicking combination. It can also be done with both the linear and circular variations of the roundhouse kick. You would usually see the linear shuffle kick used more often for high kicks and the circular used more often for middle kicks / low kicks. -------------------------------- Subscribe to Kwonkicker for more martial arts tutorials with a focus on training Taekwondo & Karate for modern Kickboxing Sports, Muay Thai & MMA.
